In October 2024, I utilized the services of Smart Choice Repair Center.

I have a tall bureau with five drawers on the left side and open shelving on the right side. See photos. I have a sliding panel that covers the right side open shelving when closed giving me access to the drawers. When I slide the panel to the left the panel covers the drawers and allows me access to the shelving.

The wheel mechanisms broke over the years of use. I do not know the brand of my furniture. This bureau is part of a complete set including two dressers and two night tables. I needed to have the sliding panel repaired, because buying a new bureau was out of the question due to it not matching the rest of the set.

I Googled furniture repair and Smart Choice Repair Center was one of the options that popped up. I called two other companies before Smart Choice. They were both referral websites like Angies list. I was getting no where.

When I called Smart Choice, Tom answered the phone. He told me to take
pictures of the broken sliding door and text them to the company. He called back with a quote. I accepted the agreement. Tom came to my house, examined the bureau and took it back to his facility. A few days later he came back to my house and installed the door. It worked perfectly.

The workmanship was fantastic. I saved a couple thousand dollars not having to buy a new complete bedroom set. I was so happy seeing the door functioning so well, I got giddy. Im 64 years old. I dont get giddy, but I did.

I very much recommend using Smart Choice Repair Center. They dont just fix furniture. It seems like they repair almost anything. The price is not cheap, but I definitely got what I paid for.

My mother gave me a book that had a recording in it and her voice would read each page of the book. She gave me this book almost 20 years ago, so when she passed away last month I pulled the book out so I could hear her voice. The mechanism was bad and after many attempts I could not get it to work as the motherboard had gone bad. I called Smart Choice and spoke to Tom who had worked on a similar book. My late mom and I were exceptionally close. She and my dad bought me a beautiful garden fairy around fourteen years ago. I took such good care of the fairy and only put her out in our garden spring & summer. However, sun and rain took a toll on her, especially her wings. When they would rust, I would sand and spray paint them, but eventually, they rusted so badly, there was no hope for them. When I tried to take the wings off the fairy, I put a large hole in her back. My garden fairy was recently shipped back to me. Not only was she packaged extremely well and arrived safe with no damage, I cant express enough how fabulous she looks!! Looks brand new like when my parents first gave her to me! They used a laser machine to make brand new wings and I can't get over how much they are identical to the original wings. You would never know that there was ever a large hole in her back. When the fairy arrived to their shop traveling from PA to FL, her foot broke off in shipping. They even repaired and attached her foot, and you cant even tell the foot was broken. We had a complicated and urgent repair: we had overnight guests arriving the following day when I discovered that our expensive sleeper sofa could not be opened. No help from Baers who sold us the sleeper sofa.

They were extremely busy but Tom heard my plight and worked us into his schedule to visit our home that afternoon and assess the situation. It took Tom two visits to repair the damage done by our mover. It turned out to be a complicated repair including welding. Tom was creative and professional - and our guests slept comfortably on the sofa bed.

I phoned SmartChoice late in the day. The technician, Tom, very patiently stayed late to try to resolve my problem over the phone. We were all ready to send our remote in when I remembered that he had wondered if the battery contacts were corroded. We didnt think they were but we decided to clean them anyway. I am very impressed with the quality of work and service if my recent repair. I have a very nice sectional sofa that is huge! I noticed it starting to sag and become uncomfortable. It is a sectional and Id have to push it together as well at times the fabric was still beautiful and it was one of the most comfortable sofas I have. I spoke with Tom after much research and was so happy to find a professional and knowledgeable person to accept the challenge of repairing this favorite piece of furniture. He quoted me a price for pickup and delivery and after looking at pictures, gave me a price that I felt was very fair. Well after picking up the sofa, and taking it apart, Tom called to tell me that it had both springs that were badly worn and straps that held the foam and feathers in place and everything had to be replaced. Im sure there was a lot more work than anticipated because most sectionals dont have both anymore. He told me that since he quoted me that original price, there would not be any other charges and he would still try to get it back ti me in 3 days. They did and placed metal brackets to keep the sofa sections together locked into place. I asked if her should do the cushion backs as well since he had it on his possession. I paid a little more but when they delivered my sofa it was even better than when I first bought it 6 years ago! I will refer anyone to this wonderful repair shop and couldnt be happier with their exceptional service.

I had been searching for a Medici Lion Standing with the paw on a ball for almost two years now for my husband for his desk. Finally, I found one in an antique shop in England and paid $80 just to have it shipped. When it arrived, it was broken in 7 pieces, the paws and tail and also there was a crack in the neck. Needless to say, the packer did not use bubble wrap which could have prevented this damage. After several emails with the antique dealer, I was refunded a full refund including my shipping cost.

I almost threw this piece out but decided to search for a restoration company that could perhaps restore this magnificent piece back together. This piece is of an Italian stone/marble and is an exact duplicate to the Vacca Lion that sits in Florence, Italiy. The detailed work is amazing.

I searched on google for days and finally called Smart Choice Repair Center in Boca Raton, which is an hour away. I sent pictures via text and they quoted me a price to fix it. I actually was hesitant at first to use them as they offer a very wide range of repairs. I thought that maybe I should have a company who only specialized in marble restoration. However, I decided to take the Lion to them so that they could personally look at it.

I was quoted 3 different prices depending upon if I wanted a museum or gallery quality piece, or just to have it repaired with perhaps minor restorations visible to the eyes. I settled on the latter and it was the original quote that I was given via text as I didn't want to spend 3 times the amount I had originally paid. I did not care if there were small lines visible to the eye where it had been broken, I just wanted it back into one piece again.

It took them approximately one month to restore. When I went to pick it up, I couldn't believe my eyes. Not only was the work high quality, I could barely see any imperfections where it had been broken. I know that they worked for many hours on this piece by hand and I am extremely happy with the outcome. They even painted the marble stand black again due to a lot of scratches. The glue they used was 100% better than the glue that was used originally too.

Smart Choice Repair Center did brilliant restoration work and I would highly recommend them. I had a positive experience with them and the owners provided knowledge and a commitment that I would be happy with the results.

I used Smartchoice Repair for a small job and was completely satisfied with it. So used them again for a re-upholstery of a retro swivel chair. Tom was good at keeping me posted as to why it was taking 6 weeks to complete. I sent my eagle statue from California to be repaired. They were always responsive to my questions and they kept me updated on the repair progress. My Eagle looks like new. I would definitely use them again and I highly recommend them.

These guys are amazing! Any figure collector dreads the nightmare of resin shards and broken pieces sitting in less-than-quality packaging. This was my first time receiving a broken piecea support figure for a special maskand I was distraught looking for a repair shop. It's hard to describe my relief and excitement when I found Smart Choice Repair Center. Finding a resin repair place of this quality is remarkable. The before and after photos of their work samples speak highly of their skill, their reviews praised them, and after my experience, they definitely proved their reputation to me!

They were very encouraging and comforting to someone upset over a broken figure! Their representative was very responsive when I called, knew exactly what he was talking about, and assured me they had done many jobs repairing resin figures and similar works. He answered every question I had and allayed my concerns over getting the work done. I sent them images of my figure's damage and they gave me an estimated initial cost of the job and time it would take. We set up an appointment to meet, discuss the repairs, and drop off my figure. The entire process was no hassle at all and very heartening. I felt even better about my decision after getting off the phone.

This place is professional! After I brought the figure, the rep set it on a display mat, reviewed the broken pieces and fit them together to make sure it was in the proper place, asked me questions about the figure's original state, and even checked the website of the figures production company to get references. This wasnt a simple job. The figure was broken in five places, there were pieces missing, scrapes around the broken parts, and the metal rod inside the sculpture to support the mask that hung on the piece was bent out of shape. All things the representative picked up on.

But despite that, he was confident they could fix it. They used the same material the rest of the statue was made from to recreate the missing pieces, fuse the broken parts back together, and strengthen the piece to its original sturdiness. They also said they would either repair or replace the metal support bar inside depending on the damage. And they hand painted the figure to match the original paint job to cover up the repairs, including the bark-like texture the rest of the figure came with! Smart Choice Repair Center takes their work very seriously and they did all of it with pride and skill.

They estimated the repair would take between 4 to 6 weeksit was a complex job and they had quite the busy schedule to tackle before minebut for the quality of their work, it was well worth it. I picked up the completed piece at the end of the 6th week. It looked stunning! Every piece was back in place, secured and strong. Theyd patched the holes, filled the cracks, melded the seams, painted the repaired areas with the matching color and texture, and fixed the metal rod inside! I brought the mask with me and the piece held it without a problem.

I was so happy, I ran out of words a few times. It was amazing repair work and utterly remarkable they were able to fix it, considering the shape it had been in! As for the cost, no, it wasn't cheap, but worth it for this quality, professional work; definitely far less costly than trying to buy another figure. Im happy to say my figure is standing right beside me, holding my precious mask without a single problem, and looking as amazing as my other figures! It brings me joy every time I see it. What couldve been a huge disappointment turned out to be a wonderful surprise.

While I hope I wont have another breakage on any future figures, IF the unfortunate were to occur again, I know exactly where Ill be calling. Smart Choice Repair Center. I had some 25 year old Christofle flatware pieces that took unfortunate short trips into my disposer and I thought they would be forever used for just my coffee. They removed most of the damage and polished them up to look like new. I also had an an large metal antique candelabra that broke in 2 and was pretty crooked. Since it was my grandmothers and possibly my great grandmothers, I just didnt want to get rid of it. They fixed it up so it is now in one piece and standing nice and straight. I had some 25 year old Christofle flatware pieces that took unfortunate short trips into my disposer and I thought they would be forever used for just my coffee. I had been searching for a Medici Lion Standing with the paw on a ball for almost two years now for my husband for his desk. Finally, I found one in an antique shop in England and paid $80 just to have it shipped. When it arrived, it was broken in 7 pieces, the paws and tail and also there was a crack in the neck. Needless to say, the packer did not use bubble wrap which could have prevented this damage. After several emails with the antique dealer, I was refunded a full refund including my shipping cost.

I almost threw this piece out but decided to search for a restoration company that could perhaps restore this magnificent piece back together. This piece is of an Italian stone/marble and is an exact duplicate to the Vacca Lion that sits in Florence, Italiy. The detailed work is amazing.

I searched on google for days and finally called Smart Choice Repair Center in Boca Raton, which is an hour away. I sent pictures via text and they quoted me a price to fix it. I actually was hesitant at first to use them as they offer a very wide range of repairs. I thought that maybe I should have a company who only specialized in marble restoration. However, I decided to take the Lion to them so that they could personally look at it.

I was quoted 3 different prices depending upon if I wanted a museum or gallery quality piece, or just to have it repaired with perhaps minor restorations visible to the eyes. I settled on the latter and it was the original quote that I was given via text as I didn't want to spend 3 times the amount I had originally paid. I did not care if there were small lines visible to the eye where it had been broken, I just wanted it back into one piece again.

It took them approximately one month to restore. When I went to pick it up, I couldn't believe my eyes. Not only was the work high quality, I could barely see any imperfections where it had been broken. I know that they worked for many hours on this piece by hand and I am extremely happy with the outcome. They even painted the marble stand black again due to a lot of scratches. The glue they used was 100% better than the glue that was used originally too.

This was my first time receiving a broken piecea support figure for a special maskand I was distraught looking for a repair shop. It's hard to describe my relief and excitement when I found Smart Choice Repair Center. Finding a resin repair place of this quality is remarkable. The before and after photos of their work samples speak highly of their skill, their reviews praised them, and after my experience, they definitely proved their reputation to me!

They were very encouraging and comforting to someone upset over a broken figure! Their representative was very responsive when I called, knew exactly what he was talking about, and assured me they had done many jobs repairing resin figures and similar works. The figure was broken in five places, there were pieces missing, scrapes around the broken parts, and the metal rod inside the sculpture to support the mask that hung on the piece was bent out of shape. But despite that, he was confident they could fix it. They used the same material the rest of the statue was made from to recreate the missing pieces, fuse the broken parts back together, and strengthen the piece to its original sturdiness. They also said they would either repair or replace the metal support bar inside depending on the damage. And they hand painted the figure to match the original paint job to cover up the repairs, including the bark-like texture the rest of the figure came with! Smart Choice Repair Center takes their work very seriously and they did all of it with pride and skill.

They estimated the repair would take between 4 to 6 weeksit was a complex job and they had quite the busy schedule to tackle before minebut for the quality of their work, it was well worth it. I picked up the completed piece at the end of the 6th week. It looked stunning! Every piece was back in place, secured and strong. Theyd patched the holes, filled the cracks, melded the seams, painted the repaired areas with the matching color and texture, and fixed the metal rod inside! I brought the mask with me and the piece held it without a problem.

I was so happy, I ran out of words a few times. It was amazing repair work and utterly remarkable they were able to fix it, considering the shape it had been in! As for the cost, no, it wasn't cheap, but worth it for this quality, professional work; definitely far less costly than trying to buy another figure. Im happy to say my figure is standing right beside me, holding my precious mask without a single problem, and looking as amazing as my other figures! It brings me joy every time I see it. What couldve been a huge disappointment turned out to be a wonderful surprise.

Company is beyond Good. I live out of state (WEST COAST) needed a remote for my adjustable bed. COMPANY 4 remote quit making the remote 4 my bed. FOUND "SMART CHOICE CENTER REPAIR" on line.
